(More customer reviews)This is the 2nd set of these chairs that we bought. The first set spoiled us. They came assembled. We had to assemble the second set, which was easy enough, but it made us aware of some problems with the parts supplied. The screws supplied with the second set were 3/4" long (hardware list item D), which we found were too short to securely fasten the seats to their metal frames. We went to our local hardware store and bought 1" screws which did the job. We then thought that we had better check out the first set of chairs we had purchased to make sure that those seats were securely fastened to the metal frames. Good thing we did, because we found that in several cases screw ends had actually punctured through the black vinyl and would have caused bodily harm had we sat on them. We discovered that the screws were 1-1/4" long, so we replaced them with 1" long screws and all is OK now. Pass that on to the folks in Salt Lake City, which is where the first chairs came from and where they were probably assembled. Still, a good solid product.
