I like to sleep in total darkness, I even have my windows "Blacked out" (with the exception of my) La Crosse Technology WT-5360U Atomic Projection Alarm Clock
The only reason I bought this was for the Motion Sensor light to see (and stash) my glasses and cell phone so I can locate them fast during the night. Saying that....
The following three things I knew "going in" before I bought this was........
1. It was going to be made of cheap plastic.
It is!
2. It's small!
The two top compartments measure 2 1/2" Wide X 1 1/2" Deep each.
My cell & glasses fits fine, but I don't think it would hold a Blackberry.
The "Drawer 4 Section Pill Box" is just that, it's: 4 3/4" Long X 2" deep X 7/8" High, my wrist watch can't even fit in it so I use the fold down felt coaster for the watch.
3. It probably wasn't going to be worth 25 Bucks.
It's not, maybe 15
But I'm O.K. with that.
What was really bugging me was that if you get within 3-4 feet of it the light comes on. I have it placed an arms length from my bed so even if you move the covers on the bed it lights up!
Here's how I fixed the sensitively:
I put a small piece of translucent "Scotch" tape over entire sensor eye and covered half of it with black electrical tape. You can adjust it (the tapes) to your preference.
Now it goes off at about six to ten inches.
Also the front light panel does not evenly illuminate, it has "hot spots".
No biggie.
