(More customer reviews)Expectation management is important when dealing with "construction required" wood furniture. If you expect perfection, you will always be disappointed. There will always be some edges that don't perfectly match, some end pieces that are a little rougher than you'd like. So it was with this cabinet, but all the little imperfections were minor, and fixable with a little sandpaper or one of those little wax sticks that you use to blend out scratches in a finish. Beyond that, this product seems well-constructed for its price level, and I found it easy to assemble. (I think you'll find it a lot easier with an electric screwdriver.) The finish is attractive and the system used for hanging it on the wall is easy to use. You attach a rail to the wall studs. The rail has a rabbet and the cabinet has a matching slot in the back that locks onto the rabbet.
The only flaw is that until you read the instructions, you don't know that the product does NOT include the screws necessary to attach the rail to the wall studs and you will need to buy those separately.
Asthetically placed, the cabinet should be both functional and attractive. Remember that the cabinet is open, however, so dust may be an issue over time.
