(More customer reviews)This item was purchased to go with Merlot bunk beds. The beds were great. However, the entertainment console was just average. The item arrived damaged - I plan to update review once I get feedback from supplier. However, it was not the same "merlot" as the bunk beds, and the finish was not of the quality I had hoped. I would also question using it for a 46-50" TV, especially in a kids room, unless the TV was very light - while I didn't actually test it, it didn't appear extraordinarily sturdy. I gave it 3 stars because even though the finish was not great and the console seemed rather lightweight, it was also inexpensive. I would call it true to the picture, I didn't expect it to be the type of entertainment console I would have expected to use for a larger/heavier TV and other items that are heavy and fragile. Other than the damaged shelf, I would have definitely used it for toys, books, stuffed animals or other collections, etc.
