(More customer reviews)This item was purchased to go with Merlot bunk beds. The beds were great. However, the entertainment console was just average. The item arrived damaged - I plan to update review once I get feedback from supplier. However, it was not the same "merlot" as the bunk beds, and the finish was not of the quality I had hoped. I would also question using it for a 46-50" TV, especially in a kids room, unless the TV was very light - while I didn't actually test it, it didn't appear extraordinarily sturdy. I gave it 3 stars because even though the finish was not great and the console seemed rather lightweight, it was also inexpensive. I would call it true to the picture, I didn't expect it to be the type of entertainment console I would have expected to use for a larger/heavier TV and other items that are heavy and fragile. Other than the damaged shelf, I would have definitely used it for toys, books, stuffed animals or other collections, etc.

(More customer reviews)This looked very well constructed. I purchased it primarily for asthetics, but ended up returning it anyway because it didn't quite fit with my configuration. One thing though...while reading the instructions, it seemed like this mount needed some serious base to mount onto. This really turned me away from using it, plus they do not provide any hardware. You'll need to be a little crafty, and go to the hardware store to purchase mounting hardware. You do NOT need this to mount your Ergotron arms!

(More customer reviews)Overall, I'm satisfied with the unit, it seems to be well made and looks great. The descriptions matched to my expectations and despite other reviews indicating damage due to insufficent shipping protection, everything arrived in good condition. A couple of observations for those considering the unit: First the minor ones: (1) it is VERY heavy, I'm not looking forward to moving it in the future (but this also speaks to the overall quality); (2) the assembly instructions are pretty cryptic but once you get the concept, you can see how the whole thing is engineered; although, I ended up with extra pieces (I assume Salamander provides extras "just in case" and a couple where I had (and still have) no clue what to do with. For the major "gotcha": it's a real pain to try and get everything adjusted correctly, as the shelves, doors, and feet are all movable'adjustable; this part has been the most time-consuming (literally hours) so be prepared with a good level (the one Salamander provides is so small as to be useless)and lots of patience.

Entertainment Credenza in Ebony - Bedford - 88-5531-10 Review

(More customer reviews)After touring nearly every local furniture store, and scouring the internet marketplace... I landed on this contemporary entertainment center.
POSITIVES: The dimensions are PERFECT for storing stereo/audio equipment side-by-side (LOTS of real-estate), and neatly stow a center channel speaker just underneath the table-top (mine is 8.5" high, which I fit inside the compartment during assembly). The style & finish are really great. We've gotten lots of complements. Storage is GREAT with the two side cabinets
NEGATIVES: The assembly was complicated and time consuming. Several pieces did not fit-up properly, and required filling & re-drilling of holes for hardware installation. If you don't have a lot of patience & moderate mechanical skills, RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! Once assembled, I attempted to move the entertainment center by lifting up on the table-top... to have it rip apart. Several of the cheap CAM-LOCKS completely failed simply under the weight of the furniture itself! At this point, I was ready to return the item, but instead spent an additional $50 @ home depot on brackets, braces, & screws to beef it up. After blowing ~ 15 hours putting this all together, the unit is nice & sturdy (as it should have been in the first place).
BEWARE - although the fit, finish, and style of this unit is great... It has SERIOUS quality and construction issues!

Savannah Louvered door Standard Tv / vcr Cabinet Review

(More customer reviews)i bought this for my daughter's room. it was very easy to assemble (i did it myself while my husband was at work.) the box does weigh 84 lbs~fyi. while it does work in her bedroom, it would work best in a larger bedroom or a family room. her 20" tv is a little small (i put some picture frames around it to compensate.) thought the size description might be helpful, even with dimensions listed it is hard to imagine the actual size in a room. it is beautiful and i'm very glad i made this purchase!

OmniMount G3-FP-DARK 37-Inch to 60-Inch Universal Flat Panel Floor Stand Review

(More customer reviews)I would definitely buy another one of these. They fit the bill perfectly for a stand that is not intrusive into your room but still can hold enough equipment.
I've had two of these, one with a 32" lcd in my kids room. The space is a little limited for components. He has a cheap stereo, xbox 360, cable box and DVD player and still not cramped for space. The other has a 145lb 50" plasma mounted on it. We have a 45lb receiver, xbox360, PS3 on the bottom shelf, dvd player & sat box on the top shelf. There is a good bit more room for components than it looks like.
This thing is great because you can tilt the screen up and down as well as left to right. If you have the height off just a bit two people can readjust that without removing the TV from the stand.
The only complaint I can even think of is that there were some bolts missing from the package and the holes in the bottom of the back bone were filled with paint. I had to purchase a tap from the hardware store to clean the holes. I am sure omni mount would have replaced the missing bolts but for less than a $1 worth of hardware I just picked them up at the local hardware store. I believe there was a design change but they forgot to change the hardware packs. Both stands were purchased about a year apart and each is slightly different but they both had the exact same screw and bolt packs.
These sell locally for more than amazon lists them and they are hard to find. The stands I found in the big box stores don't hold a candle to this one for build quality and sturdiness. I was not happy with any of the stands I found in the local stores.

(More customer reviews)This Linon Anna collection media center looks so nice when it is put together BUT it is NOT easy to put together at least i did not think it was. The directions did not have words just pictures and the parts are stickered with numbers but do not show you up and down like most things made by Linon do. It looks nice and well made when put together it was just hard for me to get it done. It holds my 42inch LCD with no issue. : )

This is my second Omnimount stand/mount. I will say outright that their customer support is excellent. They are fast to answer, patient, courteous, and fast to resolve.

My last Omnimount mount was a cantilever architectural series wall mount. It was strong, attractive, and neat with the cable management. It even supported rotating into portrait mode without dismounting the display. The instructions were great and included a drilling template with an integrated folding dust catcher. Very well executed.
The Bad.
This stand on the other hand, had very poor instructions. They were of the "picture only" variety to save in translating and printing costs. Several grip pads were included but not referenced in the instructions requiring some guesswork.
The head had a fixed portrait or landscape positioning which was disappointing as I expected this much more expensive unit to have a mount head similar to the cantilever unit. Furthermore, the "lift n' lock" is much much more difficult to use than on the cantilever model and requires the unit to rest on the threads of the fixed bolts of the mounting head, risking damaging them. These bolts are also too close to the tilt mechanism's bolts to tighten with a HDTV in place without serious hand dexterity.
Finally, the TV mount head bracket was manufactured too small to slide over the top of the pole as indicated on the instructions requiring assembly at the final resting height to avoid scratching up the polished pole. This will also complicate disassembly, if necessary.
If the head had been of the cantilever's design and the head bracket had fit the pole properly this would have been a five star product despite the poor instructions which only frustrate during assembly.

(More customer reviews)This is a nice simple yet stylish TV stand. It seems very sturdy...I still have one of those heavy, (really heavy), 32 inch TV's w/the big tube/box in the back..no flat screen yet, and it fits nicely upon the top. I thought it would be too deep to fit.
It is nice for a small area,..not obtrusive. I like the shelves beneath.

(More customer reviews)I live in an apt and was looking for a TV stand that would be small enough to fit the wall I wanted, but also strong enough to hold an "old" TV--this fit those needs. I didn't assemble it but watched someone else do it, and it seemed easy enough to me. The cabinet on the side is a little narrow, and somewhat difficult to place object in, but workable. I adjusted the shelves so I have my box on one shelf, my DVD on the second and a wicker basket with DVDs on the bottom shelf. I would recommend this item.

Very nice looking. Sturdy and not that hard to put together.
*note: if your TV is 42in or smaller, the mount may stick out a bit underneath it. Ours does, but we are going to mount small speakers there so it wont matter. I suppose depending on your TV and the positioning of the mount attachment, you could get it hidden.

Unless this glass table is hidden behind something, I would not want these problems to be seen. Otherwise the unit was very heavy and could easily hold the weight of my 54" Plazma TV.This may have been a one time quality control problem, but given the weight and time to assemble, I did not want to gamble on a replacement and therefore returned it.As always, Amazon's guaranty is the best should you have a problem.
