(More customer reviews)This Linon Anna collection media center looks so nice when it is put together BUT it is NOT easy to put together at least i did not think it was. The directions did not have words just pictures and the parts are stickered with numbers but do not show you up and down like most things made by Linon do. It looks nice and well made when put together it was just hard for me to get it done. It holds my 42inch LCD with no issue. : )

(More customer reviews)I bought this same tv stand from http://www.tvkeepers.com, when I got it, three pieces broken, then I found some is wood, some is high pressure paper made plate, most ridiculous is the face frame is connected with staples. though they promised to replace three pieces, I did not get yet.
The appearance is ok and do the job for 46 lcd hdtv, do not know how long it will last, will never buy bedford and tvkeepers for they do not have phone csr. will stick to crate barrel

(More customer reviews)We received this table and are so pleased at how beautiful it is. It was packed extremely well, and had just one small scratch that is barely noticable to anyone. We loved the fact that we did not have to put anything together, and it came in one piece. It is a very well made, beautiful piece of furniture, and we love the fact that it is actually made of hardwood, not just wood veneers, like many products in this price range.
The only reason I did not give this 5 stars, is due to the misrepresentation on the shipping. Athomemart charged about 160 for shipping and as it states on the info, it is curbside shipping. However it also states shipping is 0-2 days. After ordering the table, we received a call, where they told us they could offer us 3 different levels of delivery, for an additional 30 - 50 dollars, and it would take an additional 10 days for delivery. The additional fee was to ensure a delivery company who specializes in furniture delivery would bring our table vs. a regular "moving' company who will just drop your table off at the curb. We ended up getting the "bronze" service for 30 dollars, so the company would bring it into our house. I now wish we had gotten the higher service (platinum) so that they would have taken the table out and gotten rid of all the shipping material. . It was a bit of a pain to break all the shipping stuff down. I wish when they had described the product they had mentioned this additional service up front, instead of after we had bought the product. The people from the company were very nice, and said it was a service offered to provide better customer service, however I still think they should have provided this information before we bought the table. All in all, however, we are very pleased and the table itself is beautiful. Probably would have cost at least another 300 dollars or more at any other furniture store.

Bush Furniture Riverwood TV Stand Review

(More customer reviews)This TV stand arrived about 2 weeks after I ordered it and I began to assemble it. It took about 6 hours by myself - you have to assemble EVERYTHING. It came with everything except some dowels needed for assembly, so I went out to a local hardware store and bought some instead of waiting to call the company and have them shipped out. That was my main problem with the unit. Assembly was fairly easy and everything fit together nice.
The Quality is decent but I expected more. The smell is strong but hopefully that will go away soon. Some of the wood had small chips and imperfections in the paint, but it is barely noticeable once put together. It is very heavy and sturdy enough to hold my old 32" projection tv without a problem. Overall I am satisfied but would probably go with another manufacturer next time.

But cheap particle board materials and structurally flimsy design (thin corner supprts are really all you get -- middle supports are for show - they do not support any weight) make the unit very weak. it started to bow under the weight of my 45" plasma immediately.

(More customer reviews)I started looking for a tv stand in Circuit City. They didn't have anything I thought was appealing. Bestbuy had some nice items, but they were way too expensive for anything decent.
I was a little skeptical ordering this from Amazon as I couldn't see it in person to see the quality in person, but I gambled and bought it. This stand for under 300 dollars I believe is much nicer quality than the 500-600 dollar ones @ Best buy! Easy to assemble, appealing, and high quality. The wood wasn't that cheap compressed stuff that a lot of manufacturers use.
I don't know how this would work with a crt (tube) tv, but the description above clearly states flat screens.
I did the free trial of Amazon Prime, and this arrived within one day of shipping, and within 2 of purchase!
Overall, 5/5 !!

(More customer reviews)I'm very disappointed in this stand after purchasing and putting it together. It does appear in your home exactly as the photos here once you assemble it. Which is very fine. However, you'll find as you near the final steps and likely need to turn the thing over to finish a few things that the whole build is VERY flimsy. I'll be honestly surprised if this thing lasts a move to another home, it really doesn't appear as if it will last just being moved to another room. No matter how tightly you put it together it's still going to wobble. I'm not so upset considering how cheap it is, however if I had actually seen it wobble in person I would have passed on it completely, you're definitely getting what you pay for.

(More customer reviews)I was very pleased with this furniture. I have a 50" flat screen and it fits nicely. It is solid wood and completely assembled. It is has a very warm stain. My only negative would be that there are no shelves inside the cabinets. I had assumed there would be. On one side of the cabinet, I prefered this because of the components I placed inside (a receiver and CD Player stacked, with our Wii remotes to the side). We had to make our own holes in the back for ventilation of those components and to connect the wiring. As the back is a thin plywood, my husband had to use a jigsaw to make the cuts. On the other side I am using for DVD/CD storage and had to insert my own shelving. It only took us about an hour to make those adjustments and it was worth it to us.
It was shipped from AtHomeMart and was packaged very well and arrived on time. As mentioned by the seller, it is only delivered curbside, but they were able to place it in my garage. It was in the box, on top of two crates. The original box was completely wrapped in large bubble wrap and then covered with another make-shift box that was wrapped completely in plastic wrap. Absolutely no damage. I did completely fill a trash can will all of the packing material.

Bush Furniture Stanford TV Stand Review

(More customer reviews)After reading a number of reviews on Amazon and other sites, I felt that this piece of furniture was the best value available. By the way, I ordered this piece and paid for 1-day shipping, which was only $10 and it arrived in 1-day, all 113 lbs!
A couple of things you should know before purchasing this item. First, it is 100% particle board, no real wood. Not necessarily a problem, but just so you know what you are getting. Second, check all pieces before assembling. I got about half-way through the 3 1/2 hour job (not sure how the one reviewer did it in 1 hour!) and realized that one of the pieces had cracked paint. Given the location of the piece and the lack of desire to return, I continued anyway. Some of the pieces don't line up as well as they should and you may need to force a few together. (Doors are tricky to line up perfectly)
However, given the price I paid and the strength and appearance of the piece, I still feel it was a good purchase. I would recommend this piece, just not highly recommend.

Basically every piece had some damage including big chunks out of some corners. The box looked like it was shipped out of Baghdad. Luckily, the manufacturer sent new pieces which were well packaged. Again, nice product, but don't buy it here!

(More customer reviews)Once I got it all assembled, I am pleased with the product.
It has clean lines, great wood grain and color. It really looks like furniture you would purchase from a furniture store. I've put 2 coats of Old English furniture polish on it already :) and I am very pleased.
I found the installation instructions a little "abstract" at first, but once I got out all the parts and matched them up with the pictures, the concept come together. I would recommend that you DO NOT use a power screwdriver tool, due to the screws are pretty soft and may cause stripping the screw heads--all are Philips screws.
I found no damages but that could be because I went to the Circuit City store and picked it up myself, rather than it being shipped via ground shipping to me. The outer cardboard box it comes in is not heavy enough for something that weights nearly 100 pounds. The box is too flimsy to take much rough handling. I can see if it has to endure much handling in shipping, the outer cardboard could weaken and become mashed.
It took me between 1 and 1.5 hrs to assemble, but I took a few breaks in between.
Based on the cost and it's style, appearance, and functionality; I would definitely recommend it to others and would consider purchasing similar pieces from Tech Craft.
