(More customer reviews)I have just purchased these attractive bamboo tables as a gift. Unfortunately, I found them to be VERY poorly made. The materials are quite cheap and the workmanship is terrible. Screws fall out when they are folded up and the wood pieces that are supposed to be glued together fall apart when handled. The vendor Home Imports Direct has so far declined to refund my money on this item, saying that the return falls under the heading of "Buyers Remorse." They will not allow a return on an item that is unpacked and "used." We didn't know, while the items were still in the box, that the quality would be so poor. If you want tv trays, go for the metal retro-type...the type we had back in the 60's. Those lasted for years and rarely broke.

Dolce TV Stand Review

(More customer reviews)I have purchased other pieces from this collection namely the console, coffee, and end tables. Pretty simple assembly for those pieces, you just have to screw the legs on. This piece however is a total PITA. Read the reviews at Target's web site for more info concerning the assembly. I tried twice, once with help. I though I had it tonight, then tried to put the right side piece on, and the whole table fell apart, the table scratched, and screws broke off. It is now sitting curb-side waiting for my garbage pick up tomorrow. Whatever you do, don't throw the original packing away until you assemble the table! Needless to say I cannot return it, and am out almost 200.00. The sad thing is that it didn't have to be so complicated to assemble. Using screws instead of cam locks, and shipping it with the frame partially assembled would have made a huge difference. Very disappointed.

Vintage 32" Tv Stand - Cherry Review

(More customer reviews)I live in an apt and was looking for a TV stand that would be small enough to fit the wall I wanted, but also strong enough to hold an "old" TV--this fit those needs. I didn't assemble it but watched someone else do it, and it seemed easy enough to me. The cabinet on the side is a little narrow, and somewhat difficult to place object in, but workable. I adjusted the shelves so I have my box on one shelf, my DVD on the second and a wicker basket with DVDs on the bottom shelf. I would recommend this item.

(More customer reviews)They describe this unit as "mahogany". Now I'm not sure what crazy definition of mahogany they were looking at but this is about as far from mahogony as it gets. More like, orange pine. I contacted the vendor about returning for a refund, but found that they wouldn't cover the shipping back. With an item that weighs about 100 lbs, there is no way I could (or want) to drag the box down to the car and to the post office and pay ANOTHER $50 shipping to send it back. What a waste, wouldn't recommend this item unless you actually want cheap light plywood.

OSP Designs Half Moon TV Stand In Espresso Finish with Frosted Glass Top Review

I purchased this for $205 and received it in a severely damaged box (which is not the fault of the company, only UPS) There was a small piece that had broken in half. This is cheap particle board and breaks easily. I wrote OSP Designs and explained the situation, as they guarantee all parts and will replace for any reason if damaged upon receipt. They gave me the run-around for 2 wks asking for photos, a special form, and proof of purchase. I gave them everything necessary and they still ignored my request. I wrote them back again and stated if they did not correct the problem and send me my small part I wanted a full refund and wanted them to pay for the shipping to send it back. They told me they would refuse the package if I returned it, would not pay costs, and said they don't sell off of amazon.com. I explained that I bought it from amazon and yes they did indeed sell on here!!! It has been over 3 wks...now they say they will send my part....we shall see. No word on it yet. Alot of non-sense for a small part.

(More customer reviews)Assembled fairly easily, this made in China tv stand did have a rather odd smell to it when first opened, but after a week or so the fumes from the laminate-paint/stain or whatever it was, did clear out. Looks attractive when put together and the separate pieces fit together without too much struggle. Rotating top is a handy plus if you watch your flat screen from different vantage points in the room.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this tv stand to go with the desk and chair from Mainstays that I purchased. The assembly was super easy and it's very sturdy. It took me about an hour and a half to assemble, and that's only because I am not really used to assembling things on my own. I do not use this stand for a tv, however. I placed my Canon wireless printer on this stand and placed it across the room because my room is not really set to where I can have a desk and a tv stand on the same wall. I recommend this product completely!

Cape Craftsman TV Tray Set with Stand, Set of 4 Review

(More customer reviews)I am 100% disappointed. I bought these exact tv trays at a store in my local mall. The store has super cute, trendy pieces & I wrongly assumed that their high prices meant high quality. Anyway, heres the basis for my 1 star review. First I'll say the one star, which is also required, is for the overall look. I can honestly say I've never seen a better looking set of tv trays. Other than the actual appearance this set is a total piece of junk. The instructions to put together the stand were incomplete. Instead of there being 12 identical screws like the directions implied, there were 4 long screws & 8 slightly shorter screws. I didn't notice this until I was almost done putting it together so I had to take the whole thing apart & start over. Although annoying it was not a big deal & was easily fixable. The next problem I encountered was each tray was shrink wrapped. This seemed like a good thing until I tried to remove the plastic. Whoever manufactured these wrapped the trays first & then attached the legs with screws. This made removing the plastic almost impossible. I couldn't tip off the plastic because it wouldn't tear evenly. I ended up having to use a knife to cut the plastic so there wouldn't be stray pieces hanging. This resulted in obvious cut marks in the dark wood. This was also annoying but I knew it was underneath so it wouldn't show. Here comes the deal breaker... This morning when used for the first time the screws ripped. The whole left half of the tray became unattached while my husband was trying to fold down the tray to put it back on the stand. Needless to say, this whole set is going back this afternoon.

Black Tall Corner TV Cabinet Review

(More customer reviews)This item arrives in many pieces for the buyer to put together - which is fine. The pieces, however, arrived in consistently poor shape. The wood (not solid wood) is covered by a black laminent material. On many of the pieces, the black laminent was chipped off completely, or is in the process of chipping off. These were inperfections that I cannot believe we unnoticed during the packing process, because they are obvious. And they were not damaged during shipping.I called the manufacturing company, and they are shipping me replacement pieces, so that I didn't have to return the entire order (which would be a pain, since the box weights almost 80 lbs.). However, the company is in Canada, and the replacement pieces are taking over a week to arrive. So, I have a half-constructed TV stand for all my guests to see. And, no, rush shipping was not offered in this case by the manufacturer, to ease my inconvenience. I am thoroughly disappointed in my purchase and the speed at which their errors are being resolved. I would recommend that you move onto another product that you can see in person before buying.

I needed something with doors to keep my 1-year-old away from the dvd player. Unfortunately, the magnets that secure the glass doors are so weak that they usually just bounce right off. That being said, the tv stand is attractive and functional for those who aren't trying to childproof their homes. It just wasn't sturdy enough for my needs.
