Such a small base does not provide stable support for anything having a footprint much larger than 6 inches. I found it useless for my intended use and felt mislead by the image they provide. To add injury to insult, they charged me $10 shipping twice, one for the return.

Sometimes have to try a couple of times to get it to stay exactly where I want it due to monitor cords giving resistance. But overall, wonderful product and would buy again! Turned my DoubleSight DS-263N monitor into a great bedroom HDTV as well as monitor!

(More customer reviews)Once I got this put together it was fine. But I was not expecting it to need to be assembled and was not happy about having to spend the time to do it. Be forwarned!!
Also, although this size was fine I also bought the next size up for a larger TV and the unit could not handle the weight. Those of us that still have our picture tube TV's know how heavy they are. We have an older 24" Sony Trinitron (which still works like a champ)- but this unit cannot support it. The metal undeath that allows it to swivel simply cannot hold the weight.

Black Corner TV Stand Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this corner stand because I needed a cheap television stand for an old 36" tube television I keep around for Retro-Gaming. The build of the stand feels and looks super cheap, some of the pieces are held together by plastic connectors.
The stand is super easy to assemble, I had it up and finished in less than 30 minutes. Once in place with the television it actually looks pretty nice in the room, but I still worry about the build quality as the television sitting on the stand is pretty heavy and larger than the stand is intended to hold. As long as it doesn't crumble under the weight of the television sitting on top of it, I will be very happy with this purchase.

(More customer reviews)You get what you pay for here; nothing flashy, but an effective little stand that's easy to put together. On the quality side, it's more or less comprable to O'Sullivan products.
I needed something tall so that my cable box and dvd player would be visible above a certain range. This stand looked perfect, as Amazon has it listed at 24" in height. However, when the package arrived, it noted that the stand is only 21". This actually renders the second shelf useless in my case. And there are a lot of other stands out there that I could have considered in the 18"-20" range.
Returning an item like this is more or less impossible, as disassembling and trying to repack it in the small container it was shipped in would take more time and effort than it's worth.

(More customer reviews)When I found out my TV did not swivel yesterday, I searched Amazon for a swivel base and this is pretty much the only one I could find. I have a Vizio 42" LCD and was a bit disappointed when this was labeled for only 13" to 30". From looking at the specs though, the 20"x14" size was perfect for my 42" TV's base (which is around 15"x15") and the listed 75 lb weight limit was just enough for my TV's listed 67.9 lb weight. I ignored the 30" max size and ordered anyway, overnighted. This stand works perfectly with my 42". The swivel motion is smooth, non-fussy, and quiet. It's profile is small and the base looks great, blends in well with the rest of my entertainment center. I highly recommend this to anyone who has a bigger flat-panel TV in need of a swivel base.
One thing to note is that while Amazon lists the weight limit as 75 lbs, the back of the box for the stand lists weight limit at 150 lbs. Enjoy. :)

This literally took me 7 minutes to put together and I would say it took longer to open the box and take out all the parts than it did to assemble it. Even with the quick and easy assembly, this appears to be solid and sturdy and I am not concerned about the weight of the TV being an issue at all. The fact that this is a swivel stand is just an added bonus for us, as we didn't need it but it could come in handy should we decide to use this in another room.
