(More customer reviews)I have just purchased these attractive bamboo tables as a gift. Unfortunately, I found them to be VERY poorly made. The materials are quite cheap and the workmanship is terrible. Screws fall out when they are folded up and the wood pieces that are supposed to be glued together fall apart when handled. The vendor Home Imports Direct has so far declined to refund my money on this item, saying that the return falls under the heading of "Buyers Remorse." They will not allow a return on an item that is unpacked and "used." We didn't know, while the items were still in the box, that the quality would be so poor. If you want tv trays, go for the metal retro-type...the type we had back in the 60's. Those lasted for years and rarely broke.

(More customer reviews)This stand was very easy to assemble, and is the perfect height for our bedroom TV. It is sturdy and functional and looks great. I would have given it a 5 rating except for some minor issues. The color is shown and described as walnut, when it is actually closer to mahogany. It states it is solid wood, but the sides and bottom are actually not, but they do look like solid wood. Lastly, 2 of the preassembled pieces had the screws pulled out, and required me to replace with larger screws.

(More customer reviews)I am 100% disappointed. I bought these exact tv trays at a store in my local mall. The store has super cute, trendy pieces & I wrongly assumed that their high prices meant high quality. Anyway, heres the basis for my 1 star review. First I'll say the one star, which is also required, is for the overall look. I can honestly say I've never seen a better looking set of tv trays. Other than the actual appearance this set is a total piece of junk. The instructions to put together the stand were incomplete. Instead of there being 12 identical screws like the directions implied, there were 4 long screws & 8 slightly shorter screws. I didn't notice this until I was almost done putting it together so I had to take the whole thing apart & start over. Although annoying it was not a big deal & was easily fixable. The next problem I encountered was each tray was shrink wrapped. This seemed like a good thing until I tried to remove the plastic. Whoever manufactured these wrapped the trays first & then attached the legs with screws. This made removing the plastic almost impossible. I couldn't tip off the plastic because it wouldn't tear evenly. I ended up having to use a knife to cut the plastic so there wouldn't be stray pieces hanging. This resulted in obvious cut marks in the dark wood. This was also annoying but I knew it was underneath so it wouldn't show. Here comes the deal breaker... This morning when used for the first time the screws ripped. The whole left half of the tray became unattached while my husband was trying to fold down the tray to put it back on the stand. Needless to say, this whole set is going back this afternoon.

Black Tall Corner TV Cabinet Review

(More customer reviews)This item arrives in many pieces for the buyer to put together - which is fine. The pieces, however, arrived in consistently poor shape. The wood (not solid wood) is covered by a black laminent material. On many of the pieces, the black laminent was chipped off completely, or is in the process of chipping off. These were inperfections that I cannot believe we unnoticed during the packing process, because they are obvious. And they were not damaged during shipping.I called the manufacturing company, and they are shipping me replacement pieces, so that I didn't have to return the entire order (which would be a pain, since the box weights almost 80 lbs.). However, the company is in Canada, and the replacement pieces are taking over a week to arrive. So, I have a half-constructed TV stand for all my guests to see. And, no, rush shipping was not offered in this case by the manufacturer, to ease my inconvenience. I am thoroughly disappointed in my purchase and the speed at which their errors are being resolved. I would recommend that you move onto another product that you can see in person before buying.

Cappuccino Finish TV Stand with Glass Doors Review

I needed something with doors to keep my 1-year-old away from the dvd player. Unfortunately, the magnets that secure the glass doors are so weak that they usually just bounce right off. That being said, the tv stand is attractive and functional for those who aren't trying to childproof their homes. It just wasn't sturdy enough for my needs.
