Sanus Systems PFFPB-01 Platinum Furniture Series 30- to 50-Inch Flat Panel TV Stand Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)i've looked every where online for a new plasma stand. i currently own ikea tv stand and its extremely low. i've owned a sanus euro series a/v stand and i found the flat panel pffp. i purchase this flat panel unit from ebay for $304. shipped. the unit arrived in a large heavy box. i had to get the concierge to help me move it up to my home. every thing was very well packed and nothing was broken when arrived. installation took me about 30-40 minutes, it was quite easy. to hardest part was hooking my 50" plasma on the unit. its hard if your doing it yourself. this hook up requires two people to hang the plasma on the unit. overall, i love it. it makes my plasma look even BIGGER.

Bell'O AVSC-2121 Versatile Wood Tone Corner-Fit Audio Video Furniture System Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Item arrived with flimsy packaging considering the fragile glass included. The front trim piece had a few small scratches and defects/rough edges in the black powder coat finish. The top glass had a 3 inch chip defect of the right front corner that had clearly been "buffed" at the factory rather than discarding it as "defective". The middle glass had scratches on the under surface black finish due to the 3 glasses sliding in transit. This is due to insufficient packing between the fragile glass pieces.
No problem getting a replacement unit sent out, other than back order delay.
The replacement unit also had scratches on the front trim but the powder coat was okay, and there were no glass flaws, so I "touched up" the finish flaws and assembled the new stand.
None of the reviews to this point have suggested a QC problem by the manufacturer. I believe the back orders caused a rush in production, or the manufacturer is using a new plant which has QC issues. No matter, because although the stand looks good and does its job, I can't recommend it unless you have plenty of patience and have no alternate choices.

Zuri Wood TV Stand in Dark Espresso Finish Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is a very attractive piece furniture and certainly looks like it came from a top of the line store such as Ethan Allen.. The color is a rich, dark brown, almost black and it's very sturdy for being a DIY piece.. I did have a bit of trouble putting it together, the screw holes were off just enough on the backside that I couldn't get them to go in all the way, forcing me to leave about a 1/4 gap where the back part meets the sides.. I'm sure if a guy had been putting it together he would have been able to get them in tight, but being a older gal without the upper body strength of a fella I just couldn't apply the pressure needed.. However, you can't really notice this since the gap is tiny and on the backside so I am still very pleased with how the unit came out and hope to get the matching coffee table soon.. I did find the price of these units a bit high, considering you do have to do some work to put them together and it can require some effort but that would be my only complaint.. Shipping was quick with no problems.. I give it a hearty 4 stars..

Walker Edison 52-Inch Solid Wood TV Console with 4 Doors Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The item name and description for this product contain false information.

The product is called the "Walker Edison 52-Inch Solid Wood TV Console with 4 Doors."
The description reads: "Elegance and function combine to give this contemporary solid wood TV console a striking appearance. The design gives a stylish modern look crafted with solid Asian hardwood. Console will accommodate most flat-screen TVs up to 55 in. Adjustable shelving allows for a wide range of A/V components."
While much of the cabinet is some sort of wood, a significant and visible panel is particle board. The particle board is the 52-inch by 16-inch bottom panel of the cabinet. The front edge of this panel is visible along the full front length of the cabinet, as the doors fit within the frame rather than over it. The laminate on this particle board piece arrived with chipped and cracked edges.
While most of the rest of the console is wood, ours arrived with some pieces that were cracked -- not split open, but with cracked seams.
I called the company, which said that it is not responsible the description that appears on Amazon's Web site.
Just an FYI for other customers who, like us, were searching specifically for something that does not contain particle board.

Traditional Brown Entertainment Console Plasma Lcd Tv Stand Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I was very pleased with this furniture. I have a 50" flat screen and it fits nicely. It is solid wood and completely assembled. It is has a very warm stain. My only negative would be that there are no shelves inside the cabinets. I had assumed there would be. On one side of the cabinet, I prefered this because of the components I placed inside (a receiver and CD Player stacked, with our Wii remotes to the side). We had to make our own holes in the back for ventilation of those components and to connect the wiring. As the back is a thin plywood, my husband had to use a jigsaw to make the cuts. On the other side I am using for DVD/CD storage and had to insert my own shelving. It only took us about an hour to make those adjustments and it was worth it to us.
It was shipped from AtHomeMart and was packaged very well and arrived on time. As mentioned by the seller, it is only delivered curbside, but they were able to place it in my garage. It was in the box, on top of two crates. The original box was completely wrapped in large bubble wrap and then covered with another make-shift box that was wrapped completely in plastic wrap. Absolutely no damage. I did completely fill a trash can will all of the packing material.

OmniMount Tria 1 B - 1 Shelf Wall Furniture (Black/Dark Glass) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I made this video to help eliminate the confusion regarding the cable management capabilities of this particular item. As the video shows, you can easily route cables from the sides as the cover does not block them.
