(More customer reviews)Had to submit this review since finding a nice-looking, cost-effective TV stand for LCD's isn't so easy. Upon opening the box, I was pleasantly surprised to find all the pieces enclosed in plastic with separators in between to prevent scratching. I first checked out the finish, fearing it would disappoint, and was happy to see it looked even better than pictured. After unpacking everything, I found the plastic bag containing maybe 50+ assorted "fastenings" and figured I had made a big mistake in thinking I could assemble this. I was wrong! I laid out everything, and found everything was there. I went to the directions, and there was not a word, not a sentence ... which was great, because instead the company had step-by-step diagrams clearly indicating what to do and the "fastenings" with which to do it.
It took me about 2-1/2 hours to assemble only because I purposely worked slowly so as not to make a mistake. I actually found it was impossible to make a mistake given the exceptionally clear diagrams. I never once had a question as to how to proceed, which is unusual in my experience in assembling items like this TV Cabinet. I was especially surprised that all the pieces fit together so perfectly and effortlessly. The finished product looks like those I saw assembled costing 3-4 times the $225 I paid. Buying through Amazon gave me confidence in the seller, and I rate the seller and Amazon A+.
