(More customer reviews)I have lots of DVD, CD & some VHS tapes. I needed a tall storage unit (space efficient). I ordered a cherry one. Got the shipment is about one week. Here what I found in the package for what I paid $170. The bottom, top & sides are 1/2 inch MDF all the rest of the items are wood pulp ( really cheap). I was really surprized when I found the shelves, they are 1/4 inch wood pulp boards. Really flimsy. When I loaded them with DVDs they bowed heavily. Really disappointed. It took me about an hour to put it together. I am really handy so it was not much of a challenge, but if you are not handy you mileage may vary. Be careful when you put the paper thin backboard on to the center back support. Make sure the right sides installed as marked (Blue & Red). If you messed this up then the supporting holes for the shelves will not align and the shelves will be not be levelled. I have to set a level before I screwed them in. Be careful the supporting board is made of wood pulp so once you screwed the screws you are done. It really sucks. Overall , it is an extremely cheap product and it even does not do what it is designed for, i.e. support the DVD on its shelves. I searched the web and look for solid wood items, for about $100.00 more you should be able to find a much better product. It is not recommended.
