(More customer reviews)I purchased this unit recently along with a larger 2,000 cd unit. It was simple to build and I was very impressed by the quality, considering the price. The best thing was the thickness of the interior shelves which seem to be laminated 1/2 particle board. It exceeded my expectation. Very sturdy, stiff shelves with no sagging even when full of cds. Highly recommended.
