(More customer reviews)I work from home and wanted a desk that could roll right up over my lap and allow me to use my laptop in a position where my arms would be supported so that I do not get carpel tunnel. I also wanted something that I could use on the couch and recline just a bit. This totally allows me to do all that. But, you need to have a chair that will allow you to roll the desk legs under it. Luckily I had one, otherwise I'd now be searching for a comfy chair to go with the desk.
