Pro:
Darken glass hides the A/V components from view giving it a clean look.
High quality of wood finish.
Made in USA.
Arrives in one piece, no assembly required.
Cons:
Older A/V components (> 5years old) do not fit with the rear wiring.
I had to remove additional backing material to give the component wiring room.
All shelves are fixed, not removable or adjustable.
Odered with riser, but was not in the received box.
Stain color is slightly darker than photo shown at Amazon.
Overall B+ -- The stand is attractive, but could be deeper to handle all types of A/V equipment.

(More customer reviews)This stand is a very sturdy item. It wasn't too complicated to set up, just needed to pay attention to the instructions. Some parts were not labeled with their letter, but it wasn't too hard to figure out which piece was which. Definately one that needs a little bit of space to put together, just to be able to lay parts out properly. Pros: Very good quality for the price, I enjoy the plastic bushings on the back for cable routing for each of the shelves, Does alot in a shorter space. Cons: Width of shelves between leg and center is a little narrow, my cable box does not quite fit, easily remedied by inserting box at an angle. Only other con would be a few similar parts, so you really need to make sure you have the right parts and follow the instructions properly. Would definately recommend.

(More customer reviews)The reason we had chosen this particular unit was due to the color as shown in the picture for it would have been a perfect match for the furniture we already have. Once recieved, the color was a very dark brown that is not even close to what is shown in the advertisement. The unit appears sturdy and all, but unfortanately, we cleared away the old unit having everything sitting on the floor awaiting the arrival of this one and can not ship it back and search for another one, Plus it weighs 118 lbs and would be expensive to ship back (I assume). I highly reccomend not relying on the pictures shown and calling the seller to confirm the color before purchasing...the picture on the box matches the picture shown here and is quite decieving. Very disapointed, and will now have to stare at unmatching furniture once again :(

This was bought to accommodate a 55" television inside and old entertainment center that was purchased years ago and was solid wood. The quality of this console by Legends is very good and I would buy again. The delivery man delivered it into the house and waited until we verified it was in unmarked condition. All in all I am very happy with the purchase. This item was purchased through Amazon and I was able to get free delivery and no taxes which made the deal all the sweeter.

That cabinet also arrived damaged but with parts from the first cabinet i was able to repair 2nd one. Csn in a good faith effort offered small discount. I would never purchase like this again. Way to much money for shoddy cabinet.

I was very disappointed with this stand considering the price. The color is not what is shown (it's a lot darker), the quality is not very good, workmanship was poor and it was damaged before I recieved it. There are many parts wrapped up in a large box that you have to take apart before you can assemble it. After I put it all together, then I noticed the damage so I did keep this tv stand. Hope this helps others wanting a quality tv stand.

Traditional TV Stand - Cherry Review

(More customer reviews)We purchased this tv stand from Target and it took my fiance and I several hours to put it together. It was poorly packaged and didn't even have any sort of cushion for the glass! Luckily nothing was broke. One of our first problems came when we were sorting out the pieces only to discover that several of the pieces weren't even labeled. Halfway through the construction, the two back panels wouldn't even fit! After going back through and making sure everything was put together correctly, we concluded that the pieces were cut wrong. We had to cut about 1/4" off each panel just to get them to fit! There are slight gaps in the back because of the horrible fitting of the panels even after our cuts. Our next problem came when we got to the doors. The hinges attached to the doors had to be taken apart at the joint just to get them to work. Overall, this stand is really beautiful but the construction is terrible. The directions are clear and easy to read but the cut and quality of the material is little to be desired. If not for the construction, I would have rated this stand at a 5! They really should sell this stand fully assembled in order to get the ratings the overall product deserves (either that or find a new company to make and package the materials!).

Rose Valley Widescreen TV Stand Abbey Oak Review

(More customer reviews)I find it amazing what Sauder can do with MDF! The unit went together very well. Everything fit exactly like it was supposed to and the instructions were quite clear. I am not too happy about the twist cams. The instructions say to really tighten them according to an illustration in the book and when I did they seemed to break. It's hard to tell without removing them. but I didn't want to do that for fear that they may fall apart and they seem to be holding. I would recommend stopping a little short of their stated 210 deg. twist. The only mistake I made was reversing the the cabinet mounted drawer glides. It didn't seem right when I installed them, but it seemed to me that this is what the instructions wanted me to do, so I didn't argue the point. It was easy enough to correct after assembly. Depending on who assembles this unit, it may be wise to have a helper because it is quite heavy. It always amazes me how sawdust weighs so much more than the tree it came from. I suppose because it's so highly compressed. It took me about 4 hours of crawling around on the floor to compete the project. I could have completed
it faster but I like to study each step before I execute it.
The doors utilize European style hinges which is a real plus for getting then to line up properly. Some other stands I looked at didn't have this feature. The drawer and door pulls are metal and are very attractive.
Overall I would recommend this stand. The mission style is very attractive and my 55" LED LCD fits and looks great on it. It's 63-3/8" width is a little wider than I wanted originally , but I'm happy the way it turned out because it provides a lot more room for all the other electronics. The drawer is very convenient for storing instruction manuals and seldom used remote controls. I was able to purchase this unit at Farm & Fleet in Wisconsin on sale for $200.00 which beat the prices I saw anywhere else including online.

I was looking for a low and wide enclosed tv stand that would fit below a window sill and this fit the bill perfectly. The package arrived without any issues and was very nicely packed. Assembly took me about a little less than an hour but if you're new to RTA furniture, expect 1-2 hours.

The good:
1. It's beautiful, sturdy and looks high quality.
The bad:
1. It came in a MILLION pieces that ALL needed to be assembled. It took my dad in I about 1 1/2 to put it all together. U must assemble EVERY bit of it. I can't say that it was easy, actually it was tedious.
2. The top part of the stand arrived broken, but the 1 point that I deducted was for assembly, not damage. The top of the stand was broke and they sent me a new top immediately and the customer service was awesome!
Overall, I would recommend, but this product would be a PERFECT 5 stars if I didn't have to spend so much time putting it together! [...]

Sauder Beginnings Corner TV Stand in Cinnamon Cherry Review

(More customer reviews)This TV stand is much heavier than I was expecting, but I think that only adds to it's sturdiness. It feels very solid.
Assembly wasn't too bad, about the same as any furniture items that you will buy. I put it together myself in about an hour. Probably could have gone faster, but I usually read and re-read the directions to be sure I'm not screwing something down upside down.
The cubbies behind the side doors also have adjustable shelves (1 on each side). If you put the shelf in the middle there's plenty of space to fit 2 rows of DVDs.
The only complaint I would really have is the felt pads they give you for the doors, they're really not thick enough to make any difference while closing the doors, the doors still sound like they are knocking wood against wood. This is easily fixed with pads that you can get cheaply at Home Depot or Lowes (Walmart even should have them.)
