Wood Technology Solid hardwood Audio Rack Cabinet in Black Ebony Finish Review

(More customer reviews)The quality of the product is excellent , the finish is excellent, but I would take a 1/2 star off for fit. The locating pins are hard to get straight by just screwing them in, you will need to tap them into a straight position with a hammer before locating them into their respective holes with the twist screw. The directions leave a little to be desired but if you have assembled anything in the past with cam bolts and cam locks you will figure it out quickly. The sides are symmetrical and the top , bottom and center shelf are obvious. But do get help, its quite a chore to build this piece alone. So again make sure you get the cam bolts in alignment before lining them up with their respective holes, ( there are three at each mounting ) . Once assembled it is a good looking stand and you might see a little gap between the shelves and side ( no big deal, but enough to knock off a half of star) All and all, I'm happy and would recommend this unit to a friend.

Seems well worth the money.. sturdy, but refined and nice to look at.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this item for use in my workout/computer room. It needed to accommodate a wireless printer, stereo receiver, modem, router, IPod dock and digital clock. It worked flawlessly. The top shelf is more than large enough for the printer and there's enough room on the remaining shelves so that it doesn't look cluttered. It fits into the corner tightly and all of the cables are easily hidden from sight. It's a very sharp looking final product.
Assembly was a breeze. From start to finish it took me less than half an hour, without any complications. Directions were easy enough to follow. The only "complaint" is that the "Tempered Glass" stickers left a residue that took some scrubbing with nail polish remover, but I'd gladly go through that again to end up with this type of quality product.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a classy, modern looking component stand.

Winsome Wood 3-Tier Media Shelf, Espresso Review

(More customer reviews)First of all, the picture on Amazon is wrong as this isn't an open side, open back shelf. That's my fault for not paying closer attention. For the price, I wasn't expecting much, what was delivered was even less. The top of the media shelf is a nice, big, heavy hunk of wood. However, that's where it ends. The rest of the shelf components are thin and flimsy. The legs aren't true so the rack won't sit flat even if you try and wrack it back into shape.
However, the real irony is that UPS finally delivered a package that wasn't crushed, ripped, or torn and yet the shelf was still beaten to a pulp. The contents weren't well packed very well and they slid around in the box causing a lot of visible damage.
This is the last time I buy something site unseen. Even without the damage I wouldn't rate this higher than a 2 because of the cost. Way too expensive for what you get. I can forgive fit and finish issues and product short cuts given a certain price point. Heck, even Sauder can do better than this for half the price (and I hate pressed, laminated wood). I could just kick myself, however I lack the sufficient flexibility to do so....

(More customer reviews)This is a very heavy-duty, well constructed rack. It's expensive, but worth the money.
It comes fully assembled (except for wheels and legs), shipped on a wood pallet. The rack is made of heavy gauge steel. The shelving can be reconfigured into many different formats. I estimate that the unit will hold 7 to 10 components, depending on size. Comes with both wheels and stationary legs which are easy to attach. The glass door is heavy-duty and has a locking door handle. You of course can use your remotes to control your components without opening the glass door. I have been very satisfied with this purchase.

Then I though I wanted a rack built into a cabinet, but those were all so expensive. Decided to go with the Sanus CFR115 34 inch. First impression was, 'great it came pre assembled'. This thing was pretty heavy to move, need a hand. Once on the included casters, it a piece of cake to move around.
Great Value imho, came with shelves and extra screws. It is a bit large, but I know that going into this.
Very happy with the purchase.

(More customer reviews)Just completed assembly. Package as it arrived was pretty beat up as it was very heavy, but thankfully all the parts were in fine shape, but lots of styrofoam bit were everywhere.
Instructions were a tad unclear on the orientation of the cable tidy, but I figured it out. I had one bolt that was cross-threaded (the one on top of course, that has to be in far enough to have the chrome cap in the correct spot.) I had to flip that tube around and use the other end.
Looks great!

The darker glass on bottom holds all your extra units (DVD, Cable box,etc.) and hides all wires neatly in the back of the unit. It is a tall unit, and a nice alternative to drilling a hole in your wall to mount a flatscreen tv.

Sonax ML-1220 Black Three Shelf Component Stand Review

(More customer reviews)Although it was easy to assemble despite inadequate instructions, the fit and quality for the cost is ridiculous. In this "Two hundred dollar" AV stand, there is about twenty dollars worth of painted particle board and glass shelves along with five dollars worth of hardware...and that is being generous. I do the majority of my shopping online and most of that is here on Amazon and am generally pleased with the products received. But this is the first time ever for me to feel so compelled to write a product review. Granted the picture looks good and the design is pleasantly contemporary, yet what you'll receive after paying your $200 is far from what you see here.
For the price paid, I assumed that this would be a quality piece of furniture. Not so. The fit where the particle board shelves join the side and rear supports is nowhere near acceptable. There may some nice way over-sized plastic hole liners for equipment wiring, but there is no space allocated behind the rear vertical panel. You must move the stand away from the wall to make room for cables which you must figure out how to secure. Everything does have a value though...in this case...maybe $39.00. Please, please, please heed this warning and don't waste your money. Both this company and Amazon should know better than to peddle this kind of junk.
