(More customer reviews)I just got these stands for my onkyo S5100 HTIB system. I researched a lot and these stands claimed they could hold up to 8 lbs. The speakers that came with my system are around 6 lbs. The stands barely stay upright. And there's no way to extend the hight because the locking mechanism is too weak to hold up the speakers. These might be a great choice for really little light speakers but not for anything more than 4 lbs. (my guess).
