(More customer reviews)I received my stand today. Overall, very positive impression. As others have mentioned, it's is fairly easy to put together. I have seen a few other cheaper stands and the quality difference is obvious. What I really like about this stand is that there are very few pieces. The center portion you see is essentially one piece. The grating on the back is already in tact. The build is very solid and the stand is sturdy. The overall look of the stand is sleek and professional.
I had the unit shipped to me from Amazon via FedEx. Not as many issues as one of the other users. However, the bottom flap was open, but nothing was missing.
My main concern with the unit is the cable management system. Cables from dvd players, etc. slip through the holes visible in the picture. These holes are well protected, with rubber pieces so wires are not severed. However, the second part of the cable management system are vertical covers, which have slits in them at the top and bottom. My two concerns are that the metal edges are not covered (they are not sharp, but probably still should be covered with something) and that the slits are too shallow, not allowing thick cables to be put inside the covers. However, the cables can be placed on the outside of the covers and zip ties can be used to secure cables to the cover.
My only gripe is that there was some paint chipped on one of the glass-holding lips. This is not visible when all put together. I know I'm nitpicking, but you have to with as much as it costs.

If your monitor is sitting on your desktop, it is likely too low for comfort. The stand helps you place the monitor at the right height. The drawer holds all your office supplies: pencil, pen, stapler, CD's, etc. Or you can keep an extra ream of printer paper in it.

WOOD TECHNOLOGY MU-30 30" MU Series Metal Speaker Stands Review

(More customer reviews)These are the 3rd set of speaker stands I've owned and the best---really easy to assemble out of the box, looks great, and the adjustable spikes provide a very firm grip on your carpet, esp. if you have an uneven floor like mine in which case I just made a few of the spikes longer than the others. If you have tile or wooden floors, these also come with nice flat rubber feet you can use instead.
I was a little worried about how the MDF bottom was going to go with the metal legs but they are perfectly coordinated.
My only complaint: the holes in the one cylinder that is supposed to be used for cable management were too small, didn't fit my 11 gauge flat cables.
And here's a tip: instead of using the rubber squares that these stands come with, it's much better to use Blu-Tack to put your speakers on the top plate with.
These are also a great value for the eight two bucks I paid, including shipping.

Mgv Series Component Stands Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this in black three years ago. It is still in fine shape after 2 moves. It has my 46"plasma on top. My Gigundo center channel takes up the middle shelf. Receiver and CD player are on the bottom. You could put this in a multi million dollar home and would not look out of place. Way better then those wooden sarcophagus entertainment centers for TVs. You know the ones that have doors that open up, those are so stupid looking. Millions of those suckers today for sale used cause everyone is buying flat panel. Best thing I ever bought.

After watching the price for a few weeks, it finally dropped to about $250 with shipping, so I bought it. The audio tower was easy to assemble, maybe taking about an hour or so to put together. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The audio tower looks great, especially sitting next to the TV stand, and it's sturdy. There's plenty of room for my extra components too, relieving the overload on my TV stand. If you have a need for an audio rack, you'll like this one.

Bell'O SP-211 Speaker Stands with Cherry Finish Wood Inlay Review

(More customer reviews)The base is 8"X8" in diameter. The top is 5"X5" in diameter and made from the same steel as the base. The thickness of the steel that they are constructed from is very thin. The center post, which isn't a post at all, but a thin strip of stamped steel with an angel bracket welded at the bottom and the top of the stand for stability, is very flexible. If it weren't for the angel brackets they would bend in half. The stands are very unstable on carpet and were designed for small cube shaped speakers at best. Speakers with any height or weight to them will cause the center to flex forward and back and topple over. A very poor design for the money. Not worth $20 let alone the $70 that I paid

(More customer reviews)The Bush Midnight Mist Audio Tower is handome and sturdy. It fits in with anything in the room. Audio components easily fit and the cord cover in the back is a great idea. A caution here is that it definitely needs 2 people to assemble it. That is not the major problem. The Bush Company could stand tighter quality control standards in aligning the drill holes for the screws. Some of them were too tight and had to be "worked" larger. (Those are metal components, not wood.) One screw hole was so poorly misaligned the scew would only fit halfway in crooked fashion. It took considerable "grunt work" just to do that. Luckily, in this case, it faces the back of the unit. The workmanship of the drill holes was a large disappointment and caused much unecessary work. Outside of that, it's a top notch audio cabinet that will stand for years and continue to look sharp.

Bell'O FP4858HG Universal Flat Mount Panel Audio Video System with Swivel TV Mounting Review

(More customer reviews)When I opened the box my first thought was "this has more parts than my first car had."
I unpacked the box and moved the pieces to the location I wanted to place it at. Moving the box whole is a two person job at least. Once assembled, the stand would take two people to move it. Be warned it is heavy (glass and metal tend to be that)and moving it once assembled would be tricky as the frame is hard to reach and the glass really isn't strong enough to take the full weight of the stand.
The stand went together in about an hour. All of the parts are clearly labeled and the screws provided fit the holes with only one exception. One of the holes that allows for adjusting the frame that holds the television was miscut and it shredded the threads of the bolt that should have fit in it. I'll hit the local hardware store for options to replace the bolt. The frame will work without this one bolt, but it was there for a reason.
The frame itself is well put together, the welds are very clean and neat, the glass shelves are well cut and each shelf clearly only fits in one location. This is a well engineered and manufactured piece.
Really four and a half stars. Minus a little for the miscut hole.
Update: I replaced the damaged bolt with an eye bolt from the hardware store. (the eye bolt allowed for better torque while screwing it in) The eye bolt also seems to have cleaned the miscuts because I can now screw and unscrew it fairly easily.
