(More customer reviews)I usually do not buy furniture (online) without having seen it first. This was a hit, even with my wife, from the moment we unpacked the box. Very cool looking (Aluminum and glass), easy to assemble and works really well as an entertainment center. The product was packaged well for shipping (no scratches on the glass or the Aluminum posts). The shipping box is a little heavy so it needs a two person carry. Those who like a minimalistic look in their furniture would love this product!

Harmony Cinnamon Cherry and Black TV Stand Review

(More customer reviews)This entertainment center has the same look and feel of an IKEA piece. The feet do not level and the door hinges do not line up. The ironic part is that this company prides itself on it's packaging process but when mine arrived it had what I can only describe as a water bubble on the top piece. You might be lured by the picture as I was but save yourself the headache and cash. I am highly dissatisfied by this purchase.

(More customer reviews)This item looks nice assembled, but that may take sometime. The instructions are very well written and easy to understand, but have an 11 page process (not including the double print of pages 1 and 2).
Item is made of MDF with a "Bing Cherry" laminate. The top board where the TV sits, is made of a stronger wood, and the hinges included for the front doors are very strong, and nice quality. Back panel is a cardboard laminate seen in most DIY furniture units.

(More customer reviews)I generally think of Sauder and cheap when it comes to "some assembly required" furniture. So far I have been pleasantly surpised by this unit. Assembly is quick, although I swear one of the guide pictures is mirror image. For the size of this stand it packs some weightand is well finished. My only gripe is the center door which is not smoked glass, but speaker cover material. It is good if you are going to put a speaker there, but otherwise it's hard to clean. Also for the record a large housecat can easily be put into one of the compartments on the side.

4D Concepts Large TV Stand, Black Wood Grain Review

(More customer reviews)Get ready for a lot of assembling. Lots of parts.
Pro: well engineered, all pre-drilled holes right on. While pressed board with a dark laminate wood finish, it looks good assembled. I saw assembled tables in $400-700 range that couldn't match the quality of this unit.
Cons: I'm pretty handy with tools, assembling, etc. and it took me 4-5 hrs, but can be assembled by most anyone if you follow the easy to read diagram. Buy a small container of wood glue, you need it, because the 2 tubes sent were rock solid. Have a wet cloth available to wipe off excess glue from surface before it dries as you are required to use about 20 wood dowels in putting some pieces together.
Be careful in middle shelf assembly. If not you end up with unfinished end of middle shelf(just above pull out drawers) facing out. Diagram really doesn't show this potential problem area.
The delivered box weighs about 100 lbs, get help carrying.
When properly assembled, this unit is solid, looks good, and is a buy compared to big-box store tv tables.
