(More customer reviews)I shopped online a long time for a small, white finish fireplace to replace my old electric Dimplex stove. It was complicated to put together, and I paid a handyman to do it. I like the fireplace, but I resent it too. It has only yellow flames....there's no red at all. It looks completely fake, because a fire is red and yellow. If I'd known this, I wouldn't have bought it. If the description had just said "only yellow flame" I would have looked for another with red/yellow flame. And it's so much trouble to ship back, I can't return it. Why would it not be made to have a small red, and a small yellow, bulb? On the plus, the heater works well, the remote is easy, and the white finish is attractive with my white woodwork and windows and doors. The Sylvane company who made it provided no rememdy, but offered a $75 card credit, which was good of them. But I'm still seeking red, in some way.

(More customer reviews)This was the best product to fit my needs. Difficult to find a fireplace console that is over 3 feet tall. This is a quality product and works as advertised. Only issue I have is that it is not deep enough, but with some adjustments it works. The hole in the back for wires is not a big problem for me, but it could be positioned a little lower to hide wires better.

(More customer reviews)i was very pleased with this purchase. it was easy to put together, my son had it together in an hour. it is a nice looking piece of furniture and the amount of heat it puts out is surprising. the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is it had a small scratch on the bottom piece but it was easily disguised, because of color i took a black marker and ran it over the scratch and it covered it, believe me i am very picky, and all in all i am very happy.

(More customer reviews)We received this yesterday and put it together in a few hours. I expected the quality to be a bit better for the price, but all the same it looks great. We had looked at the Espresso model but opted for this lighter color - so glad we did. Some reviewers on the espresso model stated that they were unhappy with the flame because there wasn't enough color variation, but we are very happy with it. We have wanted an electric fireplace for a long time, since we can't have the real thing. This would probably warm up our bedroom if it were in that room with the door closed, but we have this in our living room near a stairway and kitchen so we didn't notice a big difference in the overall warmth of the room. However, we have only had it for one day. Standing in front of it with the heat on high, it definitely puts out good heat though so we'll see after extended use how that goes. Would definitely recommend
