My one complaint is the cable/cord holes are at the very bottom of the stand. We prefer our cable box & DVD player on the upper shelf. Needs an additional cord opening higher up in the back.

(More customer reviews)I just finished assembling this stand all by myself (I'm a 60-year old woman who is definitely NOT a handyman). The finished product is beautiful and well worth the price. It's going in my bedroom so I can more easily see the TV over my feet when I'm in bed. Most other TV stands are too short for the bedroom. The assembly was a bit challenging since the pieces are somewhat heavy and awkward to handle, but it took less than 2 hours from start to finish. I have to admit that I did make one mistake, and switched the side pieces so the shelf holes are on the outside instead of the inside, but at that point it was nearly complete and I wasn't going to take it apart. I can put tall stuff inside! I do wish that the manufacturers of furniture that has to be assembled would take more care in writing the instructions. Instructions here are a bit confusing.

SEI Thomas Corner Media Stand Review

I had a difficult time finding a corner stand with doors in the front that I could fasten shut to keep my little one from getting to the components but this one fit the bill. It went together quickly I believe with just a screwdriver, I would estimate 45 minutes but someone very handy could do it more quickly. The fit and finish was very good and I had none of those issues I've experienced before where drill holes didn't line up or some piece of hardware was marginal. It's a very solid and smart looking piece of furniture. I believe it's rated for a 42 inch max tv but I have a 46" flat screen on it and it fits great. The cabinet holds a lot and I have 4 or 5 components inside. Also delivery was a cinch and it came quickly and most importantly, undamaged. (I had ordered two prior units from another vender that both arrived beat up and had to be sent back). I would highly reccommend this media stand and vendor and amazon price was unbeatable.

Since the broken leg was in the back i went to a home improvement store and bought The Gorilla Glue and glued it because i needed the stand for my tv. (More customer reviews)Very beautiful T.V. stand once you get it put together, which was quite a procedure. Not to difficult just time consuming. Probaly took bout 2 hours total, everything was packaged individually. Package arrived very well packed with all parts in good shape, of course its heavy so have two people to help unload it and move it to where you want to put it together. Beautiful piece of furniture though once all is done and in position with a flat screen sitting on it. Also its taller so it puts the tv in the perfect watching position. I was a little concerned about ordering this without seeing it in person but my doubts are erased now, everything works great and went together nicely.

(More customer reviews)This TV stand is a substantial piece of furniture. It is of reasonable quality for the price, and it is fairly easy to assemble. The holes line up where they should and there are enough pieces to complete the assembly in less than two hours. A couple of times we thought it might end up with some awkward gaps between pieces, but after the entire assembly was completed, everything fell into place just as pictured. While it certainly isn't heirloom quality, it is exactly what we were looking for.
