(More customer reviews)Overall, this is a decent coffee table for a good price. I'm happy with the small size (exactly what I needed for the space I had), solid construction and simple assembly. I am disappointed, however, in the color of the finish. I ordered the matching end table, which was a nice dark espresso that matches my other espresso finish furniture. The coffee table, however, is solid black. Both items arrived the same day, and side by side, they don't go together at all- the color is so different. The underside of the coffee table matches the side table, it looks like someone was a little overzealous with how many coats of finish to put on and over-darkened it.
All in all, a good table for the price, but definitely in need of a little better quality control in the color department. If I had purchased this in a store, I would bring it back and have them open the boxes to find one that matches the end table. Too much effort to ship it back and take the luck of the draw on whether the next finish will be better or worse.
