(More customer reviews)this is a beautiful item, although, it is many shades darker than the picture (just under a cherry wood). I rated 3 because there were some issues where i had accidently made a double order of this and although amazon employees did what they could to help the lady i spoke to from stacks and stacks was very rude. As if I had did this on purpose! Once delivered there were a few knicks on the wood which i didnt pay any attention to because you could hardly notice them. I have a 46" tv and it fits OK. Prob would work better for tv's 44" and under. All together this is a nice, very pretty stand. semi-difficult to put together if you have no experience or help, but directions are pretty self explanitory
