(More customer reviews)This is a beautiful piece of furniture - nice color and wood finish, far more attractive and substantial than most cheap TV stands you find at local electronics stores. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend that this item be purchased from Amazon. Mine arrived today with 3 obvious damaged areas to the wood on the front and top of the piece - not where you could ignore it. Beware - if you want to return a damaged item such as this, you will have to pay the return shipping costs, which are substantial. As a long time loyal customer of Amazon, I'm shocked by this policy. I could have ordered this at a local furniture store where the return wouldn't have cost me a dime, but went for the quick shipping and very slight cost advantage at Amazon. Big mistake.
