(More customer reviews)This is a well priced, fixed (no vertical or horizontal pivot) slim mount. I purchased it for a Samsung PN50C430 slim plasma TV - my mistake, this is too slim a mount for this TV or any other with similar connector orientation - it seems as only much more expensive models had suitable connectors. Make sure you are using it with a TV with connectors parallel to the back of the TV, or understand the consequences. I'd rate it 5* if the description including a warning of the consequences!
This TV, like most of the less expensive flat panels, has connectors facing perpendicular to the TV, e.g. facing the rear of the TV out the back, not parallel with the back of the TV in a recessed area. I ended up having to buy a right angle connector for each connection at a cost of about $6-9 per connector shipped (13 of them so far for 2 HDMI, 2 component video plus audio, 1 optical, or nearly $100). I still am not able to properly position the TV on the left bottom of the mount because one of the rotating right angle connector sticks out a little too much, though I ordered another part which may fix this and achieve my goal of a slim TV on a slim mount that sticks less than 2" from the wall.
That said, the instructions are fine and the mount includes a bar (which I haven't been able to use yet) to lock the TV in position and prevent horizontal motion. Like other mounts I've purchased, it was not possible to center the mount on the wall studs and use the center holes as suggested by the manufacturer. However, I've used a similar mount for about 5 years, and had no problems with it despite kids and adults putting pressure on the top of the TV.
