It has plastic parts that you pound in between parts. If you pick it up it will fall apart. However, once it's in place it is gorgeous and the drawer is nice to have. Unfortunately, my husband bought a 42" tv so we can no longer use this.

Vantage Point AXWG03B 3-Shelf Glass Wall System Review

(More customer reviews)We have a flat screen LCD and thought this shelf system would be ideal to mount below the TV. We needed something that could handle the cable box, an XBOX and a DVD player, while managing all of the wires. Mounting was easy enough, provided you have a stud in the vicinity. We did, so no problems there. Drill a few holes and you are all set with the verticle part of the unit. This part, however, has a small (very small) groove in the back for wire management, but it is too small to be practical. Alternatively, the wires can be run along the front groove where the shelves mount, but because of the delicacy of the shelf mount, this is not recommended. More specifically, the shelves mount to the verticle beam via a small plate sized barely right and two tiny allen screws. While this has proven sturdy enough to handle the DVD player and the cable box, the shelf with XBOX has literally fallen twice, crashing down onto the floor (the temprered glass shelf survived and did not shatter). My wife is pregnant, and if we had a crawling baby around, this could have been a disaster. Consequently, I will be getting rid of this shelf system once the baby is born.
In short, for very light duty in an adult home where wire management is not important, this unit is fine -- it looks good and is easy to mount. But if you have greater expectations, spend the extra money and get a higher quality system. I wish I had.

(More customer reviews)Mount is nice but is not VESA 200 compliant. An optional mounting bracket is required. The bracket that is part of the package only goes up to VESA 100. Also the metric sized hardware requires a metric allen wrench which they provide, but it is not hardened and quickly rounds over when fastening the screws into studs. Be prepared to improvise.

(More customer reviews)While a lot of my euro friends made claims that only Americans get faux fireplaces, everyone seems to like it now that they get to sit in front of it and stare at the lights. It really does have the same relaxing effect of a fire. The lights can go on whether one turns on the heat function or not. The heat function works fantastic as suggested. Heats up a 400 sq foot space with no problem. I have a flat panel TV on top and there is no problem having the heater on with the TV there.
The console is very sturdy. There is plenty of room for cable box, books, and other media related items. You get the typical backing which includes holes for cable cords on both top and bottom. It is very easy to put together. The lights in the fireplace have the same relaxing effect of a fire.
It's a little pricey, given that it is literally a heating unit in a media shelf. However, I think if you tried to recreate this look separately it would never work. Moreover, I like that it's space saving. I have a fire place and a TV unit all together. That's particularly key for your typical NYC apartment.
All in all very happy!!

Mission style Tv Cart Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased this TV cart and had to call Home Decorators because I couldn't assemble it. There were no instructions included. They said I could download the instructions from the web, so I did. There were no words, only tiny, badly drawn pictures. From what I could tell, it looked like the holes were drilled in the wrong place on the top shelf. I called customer service again and they sent me another shelf which had the same problem. I called customer service again and said "maybe I'm doing something wrong, is there someone who can explain the assembly to me?" The customer service person said she didn't want to ask any of the "warehouse guys" for help because they're sarcastic and make fun of her. I called the customer service supervisor to complain. The supervisor went ahead and asked someone in the warehouse to help me. He said to put the rest of the cart together and screw the troublesome shelf on last. I said "how is that going to make a difference? it isn't going to change the position of the holes" But I did what he said and of course, it didn't make a difference. So, I called customer service again. She said maybe it was a defective batch of carts sent to Home Decorators from the manufacturer in Taiwan.
My boyfriend used the power drill to screw the shelf onto the legs, he made new holes with the drill, so the cart got assembled but. It didn't come out all that great because the wood is cheap and (now) has too many holes in it so its wobbly. I decided it wasn't worth it to send it back at this point, I'm just going find another cart elsewhere that doesn't need assembly.
I will never buy from Home Decorators ever again. This was the most frustrating experience with mail-order furniture that I've ever had.

(More customer reviews)The Salamander cabinet is an outstanding product. It is large enough to hold oversized components and the finish is beautiful. Solid as a rock. The ventilation panels are terrific, as well. The IFR repeater unit is necessary because of the solid doors, but be very careful with the wiring; dividing the ends to accommodate two components managed to remove the wire covering very easily.
My main concern was with the fit and difficulty of assembly. The screw for one of the legs was very difficult to set in place, and the back panels are very hard to insert. It required extra tools, and a large wrench to get the leverage necessary to turn the screw. Little details, perhaps, but an extra 30 minutes wrestling with three parts was a frustration. Thus, 4 out of 5. I don't look forward to having to remove the back panels for any wiring changes, which inevitably will happen.
Once assembled, though, the product is just what I was looking for. Well desgned for use and it looks great.

This was my first order from Plateau, and I must say that their audio/video furniture is beautiful, solidly built, and extremely well designed. Also, their customer service is outstanding.
I researched high-end audio/video furniture on the internet, and Plateau is the only company making furniture that will support a heavy 65-inch flat-screen TV at eye level, with a lot of audio/video gear safely underneath. The Plateau SR-V (75)" Credenza is 75 inches wide (22 inches deep) - but it's only 19 inches tall, so you won't get a kink in your neck from looking up to watch TV. The credenza has sliding glass doors (which you don't have to use), and it's roomy enough for a DVR, a Blu-ray player, an audio receiver, a speaker switching box, an audio/video surge-protector, and a large center speaker.
The credenza is made from quality medium-density fiberboard with a natural oak wood veneer. A hefty steel brace provides stability, so the credenza can't collapse on your gear. It's heavy (180 lbs.), so you'll need 2 strong guys to carry it. I got the Espresso finish, but you can also get Black Oak or Cherry.
The credenza is easy to assemble, and it has adjustable feet for leveling. The instructions are vague about the nuts, but they go on the feet. You'll want an electric screwdriver when you turn it upside down to install the brace. Do the assembly on a carpet so you don't scratch it.
The easiest way to connect your Satellite Coax, HDMI, and Power cables is this: (1) Lean the back panels loosely against the back of the credenza. (2) Push the cables through the holes in the back panels. (3) Plug the cables into your gear. (4) Slide the back panels into the slots in the back of the credenza. (5) Screw the back panels to the back of the credenza. You might want to try using Wireless LAN adaptors instead of Ethernet cable.
The ST-30 Speaker Stands look elegant beneath your front speakers. They're black. You can assemble them with feet for a hardwood floor or with spikes for a carpet. Both are adjustable for leveling. You can pour Cabela's 000 lead buckshot in the bottom of the speaker stands to weight them for steadiness.
The person who packed my carton at the factory forgot to include one of the metal pieces, but I contacted a lady at Plateau, and she promptly sent it to me. I appreciated this.
In my opinion, Plateau is a classy manufacturer. Five stars, for sure.

Then as we assembled it we discovered banged corners and other visible damage. After assembly it doesn't sit flat on the floor. Other problems I don't know how to describe. Of course now its too late to return it. I'll never buy another piece of Bush furniture again. Its too big of a risk.

CabCool 802 Lite Dual 80mm Fan Cooling Kit for Cabinet & Home Theaters Review

Upon opening the package and inspecting the components, I called CoolGuys because I thought I was missing a connector - my bad for not reading the instructions beforehand. They answered the call quickly and explained how the unit needed to be connected - so, no missing part. I assembled the kit in about 5 mins. All the materials seem to be sturdy and of good quality. Some posters here have complained about mounting holes not be properly aligned. I did not experience this at all. I installed it in my cabinet in another 5 mins. The fans are absolutely quiet - you can't even hear them at arm's length. Great product and excellent customer service. I definitely recommend this kit.

(More customer reviews)I had my tablemates for 3 months now and it's still in one piece. The table is very flexible and you can adjust it to 3 different heights and 3 tilt positions. The table top is durable plastic and the legs are aluminum. The table is easy to assemble out of the box and requires no tools.
----The Negatives: The height is not easily adjusted. The legs use locking pins that must be adjusted independently. The home site has a 2 for 1 but charges Shipping and handling equal to the table price. The time for delivery can be as long as 60 days. I strongly recommend ordering them from a well know store like Amazon. This is perfect as a bed tray like ones in hospitals.

(More customer reviews)These installed easily enough, and hold the speakers OK, but are a bit shaky and if bumped into the speakers move much more than I'd prefer. The speakers haven't been knocked over (yet) so I suppose all is well, but I think I'd look for something more sturdy if your speakers are in a high-traffic area where they are likely to be bumped into.
I do like the fact that the stand is quite low profile and doesn't draw your eye too much.
